Something I really enjoy about the pop punk scene:
You can have a full blown conversation with a complete stranger about the music and feel instantly connected with them. I was at Newbury Comics today browsing through some cds and I picked up Gospel by Fireworks and the kid next to me said, “That’s a great album.” We proceeded to spend the next 20 minutes talking about music and the scene and shows and finally thanked each other for the talk and parted ways. I don’t know, I just think that’s awesome.
